New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 1,984 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,07,454. The number of new cases reported came out of 72,335 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 35,611 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 36,724 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 2.74 per cent.
33 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,014. 47 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 60 on Friday, 61 on Thursday, 50 on Wednesday and 57 on Tuesday.
2,539 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,80,655 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 95.58 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Sunday. Active cases declined by 588 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 16,785 active cases.
Out of the total 18,807 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 14,361 are vacant.
