Mahagun Moderne: Residents protest against replacement of security agency

Noida: Residents of Mahagun Moderne, a highrise in Sector 78, on Sunday staged a protest against the developer and their associations.

They complained that the developer and the association have replaced the security agency overnight without any intimation to them.

Residents said that the agency is a local one and it can not perform the duties as per the requirements.

They said that most of the residents of the society are working professionals and they leave children at home while going to offices. In this situation, a watchful security agency is required to ensure safety.

The residents said that sudden replacement of the agency is totally wrong and there must be some kind of conspiracy to bring the new agency into the society.

They further said that they have come out to protest against the developer and the Apartment Owners Association for replacing the agency overnight.

They added that if something goes wrong with the residents' safety and any incident of theft occurs,  the developer should be held accountable.

Earlier in the morning, the security agency that was removed today, has also staged a protest against the developer for not clearing the salary dues. Residents have called the police to bring the situation under control.
