New Delhi: Delhi on Tuesday reported 1,617 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,10,447. The number of new cases reported came out of 85,105 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 42,056 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 43,049 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 1.90 per cent.
41 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,115. 60 deaths were recorded on Monday, 33 on Sunday, 47 on Saturday, 60 on Friday and 61 on Thursday.
2,343 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,85,852 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 95.97 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Tuesday. Active cases declined by 767 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 14,480 active cases.
Out of the total 18,810 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 14,770 are vacant.
