New Delhi: Delhi on Wednesday reported 1,547 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,11,994. The number of new cases reported came out of 79,042 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 37,885 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 41,157 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 1.96 per cent.
32 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,147. 41 deaths were recorded Tuesday, 60 on Monday, 33 on Sunday, 47 on Saturday and 60 on Friday.
2,734 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,88,586 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 96.17 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Wednesday. Active cases declined by 1,219 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 13,261 active cases.
Out of the total 18,804 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 15,088 are vacant.
