Noida: Residents from highrises, especially members of 7X welfare team, on Saturday distributed masks among Covid-19 warriors, working with Noida Industrial Development Authority. The event for distribution of masks was held outside the entry gate of Express View Apartment in Sector 93, Noida.
Residents said that the authority has been carrying out cleanliness work in all parts of the city. Many sanitation workers and officials take part in it for improving the hygienic standard. But there are ongoing challenges of pandemic, in which all need caution for keeping the spread of Covid-19 virus under control.
Considering this, they distributed N95 masks among front line workers as they have been providing uninterrupted services.
After the distribution of masks was concluded, residents also extended support to the cleanliness drive which was in progress at the venue. They picked up waste thrown on the roadside and in the parks.
Residents said that the distribution of masks was held in association with the global foundation as the organisation procured masks for the event. Earlier, the foundation and 7X welfare team distributed masks among police constables monitoring the traffic movement
