Noida: Residents of Sector 137, Noida in association with Global Foundation on Saturday distributed safety gears among Covid-19 warriors. The distribution event was held at the entry gate of Gulshan Vivante, a highrise in Sector 137.
They believed that it is mandatory to provide safety gears to Covid warriors including health personnel, sanitation workers and police. Considering it, residents distributed 1,000 N95 masks to cleaning staff of Noida Authority across the city.
They also handed over 5,000 bottles (Saife Vetmed Private Ltd) of high quality sanitisers to Noida Authority’s cleaning support staff.
Residents informed that 1,000 N95 masks were contributed by Global Foundation for Advancement of Environment and Human Wellness, New Delhi to support people engaged in the front line fighting Covid-19 pandemic from Noida Authority.
Residents also expressed thanks to Dr Pranav J Pattar (Prominent Environmentalist) and Dr Ali Asgar (Saife Vetmed Private Limited) who have come forward to support the event. They were also present while the distribution was in progress.
Also, as a token of gratitude, chocolates were distributed by NGO Usha Kiran to all attendees.
Residents said that they will be handing over 2,000 bottles of sanitisers to DCP, Central Noida, Harish Chander's office on coming Monday (December 22).
