New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 1,091 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,17,005. The number of new cases reported came out of 83,289 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 46,001 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 37,288 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 1.31 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 7.91 per cent.
26 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,277. 32 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 37 on Friday, 35 on Thursday, 32 on Wednesday and 41 on Tuesday.
1,275 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,96,580 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 96.68 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Sunday. Active cases declined by 210 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 10,148 active cases.
Out of the total 18,786 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 15,876 are vacant.
