New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 803 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,17,808. The number of new cases reported came out of 62,440 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 34,288 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 28,152 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 1.29 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 7.86 per cent.
27 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,304. 26 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 32 on Saturday, 37 on Friday, 35 on Thursday and 32 on Wednesday.
1,669 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,98,249 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 96.83 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Monday. Active cases declined by 893 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 9,255 active cases.
Out of the total 18,786 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 15,877 are vacant.
