Noida: A student of Apeejay School, Noida has been catching people’s attention for his extraordinary performances in the subjects like Mathematics and Science. Bhavya Tiwari is focussed, goal oriented and tries to understand the idea and logics behind every concept.

Since a very young age, his mother was deeply involved to oversee his studies and she created right environment for him to explore his interest of reading and studying.

“When I reached my primary schooling, I realised that my interest is in mathematics and science. Whatever task was given to me (either by parents or teacher) was being done well in time. Since there was no pressure of studies during primary schooling, I got ample time to focus on my interest areas, which is exploring mathematical/scientific theories without any limitation of syllabus,” Bhavya said.

“I never limited myself to syllabus book and would read various books to understand any particular concept. And, encouragement from my teachers and parents helped me to go beyond and boost my confidence. Since the focus was to gain the knowledge, it has helped me in performing well in academics and enabling me to do fairly well in national and international exams,” he said.

Bhavya has taken part in many national and international exams and done exceedingly well over the  years. In the present session, he secured first position in Apeejay Talent Search Exam. He has also achieved district number one rank in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan this year.

Last year, Bhavya was selected as winner from India and awarded Diploma winner (India) in Tournament of Town. It is Russian International mathematics competition for school students (class 8-11) and has participation from over 100 cities in many different countries.

Apart from that, in the mathematical olympiad, which is organised by government of India (Class 8-11), he got selected in all three exams and appeared for PRMO/RMO/INMO 2019-2020. First Place was awarded to him in American Mathematics Competition. He had scored 60/60 and achieved international rank 2 in International Mathematics Olympiad.

These are just a glimpse of what this prodigious child has achieved over the years. He aims to represent and win Gold Medal for India in International Mathematical Olympiad to be held in 2021-23. He wants to pursue engineering in computer science from a premier institute.
