New Delhi: Delhi on Saturday reported 655 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,22,094. The number of new cases reported came out of 67,115 tests conducted on the previous day.

Of which, 40,138 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 26,977 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.98 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 7.52 per cent.

23 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,437. 30 deaths were recorded on Friday, 37 on Thursday, 18 on Wednesday, 25 on Tuesday and 27 on Monday.

988 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,04,746 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.21 per cent.

The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Saturday. Active cases declined by 356 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 6,911 active cases.

Out of the total 18,774 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 16,149 are vacant.
