Noida: The returning officer, Sudhir Uppal on Sunday declared results of the RWA Sector 51 election, held on Sunday. A total of 17 candidates, who were in fray, won the election unopposed.
Uppal said there are a total of 17 posts in the residents’ body and only one nomination against each post was received. That is why all the 17 candidates who had filed nominations were declared winners.
He informed that they were elected for tenure of two years (2020-2022). During declaration of results, residents of the sector and winning candidates were present, he said.
As per the list of election results, Anil Prakash Ranotra, Pawan Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar were elected for the posts of president, vice-president, general secretary respectively.
MG Aggarwal and Neeraj Kapoor were elected as treasurer, and joint treasurer respectively. Sudhir Sinha, Jagdish Singh, Arun Kumar Sarin, G Srinivas were elected joint secretaries for blocks C D, E and F respectively.
Saurabh Jain, Ishan Barat, Harendra Singh, Dinesh Rastogi, Anil Varshney, and Manish Baveja were elected as members.
