New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 564 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,23,415. The number of new cases reported came out of 57,463 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 32,484 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 24,979 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.98 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 7.41 per cent.
21 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,474. 16 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 23 on Saturday, 30 on Friday, 37 on Thursday and 18 on Wednesday.
959 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,06,644 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.30 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Monday. Active cases declined by 416 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 6,297 active cases.
Out of the total 18,774 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 16,275 are vacant.
