New Delhi: Delhi on Tuesday reported 703 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,24,118. The number of new cases reported came out of 84,889 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 42,863 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 42,026 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.83 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stands at 7.35 per cent.
28 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,502. 21 deaths were recorded on Monday, 16 on Sunday, 23 on Saturday, 30 on Friday and 37 on Thursday.
850 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,07,494 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.33 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Tuesday. Active cases declined by 175 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 6,122 active cases.
Out of the total 18,727 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 16,367 are vacant.
