Greater Noida: Ceiling plaster fell dangerously on a child sleeping on her bed at a flat in Panchsheel Greens in Greater Noida West. Fortunately, the child escaped any untoward incident with minor injuries in her legs.
The flat owner Tanu Gupta immediately reported the incident to the police. A police team visited the flat and made inspections at the flat number C3-901.
Gupta also informed the civil team of the Panchsheel Greens society. He said that the ceiling was repaired by the civil team around a year back.
“We found that the repair work was not carried out perfectly. Now, the civil team will plaster the entire ceiling of the room,” he said.
Another resident of the society Vikas Kumar said that the incident could have become disastrous. “We have been complaining to the management about repeated crumbling of the plaster. They act on the complaint under pressure. But the situation again gets normal until the next incident. This is a serious issue,” he said.
He also appealed to the fellow residents to not oversee any cracks in the ceiling. “I request everyone to report the cracks immediately to the management and get it repaired,” he added.
