Dwarka: The drain covers are dangerously missing ajdacent to a footpath in front of Welcome Group CGHS and Batuk Ji Apartments in Sector 3, Dwarka. It is inviting any untoward incident as anyone can easily fall into it.
The level of the open drain and the footpath is almost same. After dark, it becomes more serious issue for senior citizens. Seniors shared that due to such bad shape of footpath with open drain they avoid to go out for walk on the footpath after dark.
Residents of the societies along this footpath like Balaji Apartments, Welcome Group CGHS and Batuk Ji Apartments expressed their concern for a safe pedestrian and they appealed to the civic bodies to make the open drain properly covered soon.
