New Delhi: Delhi on Thursday reported 486 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,28,838. The number of new cases reported came out of 77,522 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 43,347 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 34,175 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.63 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.87 per cent.
19 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,644. 16 deaths were recorded on Wednesday, 12 on Tuesday, 12 on Monday, 14 on Sunday and 14 on Saturday.
780 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,14,026 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.64 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Thursday. Active cases declined by 313 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 4,168 active cases.
Out of the total 13,838 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 12,228 are vacant. A total of 2,015 patients are in home isolation.
