New Delhi: Petrol price reached an all-time high in Delhi after revision on Thursday. The price has gone up to Rs 84.70 per litre after a hike of 25 paise per litre.

On the other hand, diesel price was also hiked by 25 paise. The price of diesel is now 74.88 per litre. This is the second straight day when fuel prices were increased by 25 paise.

The petrol prices have increased by 1.17 per cent in January. Petrol price was Rs 83.71 per litre on January 1.

On January 6, the daily price revision was resumed after almost a month-long pause. 

The highest ever diesel price was touched on October 4, 2018 in Delhi, when it was at Rs 75.45 a litre mark. On that day, petrol was priced at Rs 84.
