New Delhi: Delhi on Saturday reported 299 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,32,183. The number of new cases reported came out of 71,957 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 40,717 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 31,240 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.42 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.45 per cent.
6 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,738. 10 deaths were recorded on Friday, 4 on Thursday, 11 on Wednesday, 16 on Tuesday and 13 on Monday.
397 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,18,754 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.87 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Saturday. Active cases declined by 104 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 2,691 active cases.
Out of the total 11,428 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,319 are vacant. A total of 1,234 patients are in home isolation.
