New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 161 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,32,590. The number of new cases reported came out of 50,523 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 32,368 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 18,155 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.32 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.37 per cent.
8 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,754. 8 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 6 on Saturday, 10 on Friday, 4 on Thursday and 11 on Wednesday.
362 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,19,501 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.93 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Monday. Active cases declined by 209 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 2,335 active cases.
Out of the total 10,128 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 9,073 are vacant. A total of 1,079 patients are in home isolation.
