Noida: 72nd Republic Day was celebrated at Noida Shaheed Smarak with proper adherence to Covid-19 guidelines at Sector 29 on Tuesday.
Lt Gen GL Bakshi, Chairman of Sanstha offered floral tributes to 38 martyrs of Gautam Budh Nagar on the base of the cenotaph.
Lt Gen SK Singh, CEO of Shaheed Smarak, Col Chibber, Flt Lt Sharma, Vijender Thappar with families and other NOKs of martyrs, Jayoti Rana, Principal and students of Army Public School; Lt Gen Surinder Verma, Lt Gen Khurana, Maj Gen DK Sen, Brigs Bali, Vaid, Cols IP Singh,Venish Rai, Mohinder Singh, Commander Narindet Mahajan; members of Executive Committee of Sanstha, and citizens of Gautam Budh Nagar paid floral tribute.
Speaking on the occasion, Cdr Narinder Mahajan said, “The National Flag and flags of three services were fluttering majestically, adding to the great ambience of the memorial.”
“Annual Wreath Laying Function will be on February 19, 2021,” he informed.
