Noida: To provide Ganga water directly to the homes, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has constructed a pipeline and reservoir.
The Ganga water will be fetched from Upper Ganga Canal in Haridwar. Ganga water will be supplied to different sectors in Greater Noida from May.
The Ganga water will be supplied to sectors like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Pi 3. Residents living in Swarn Nagri, sectors 36, 35 and Phase 1 in Greater Noida will also receive the Ganga water.
The trial for Ganga water supply will be done by the authority in March-April.
At present, the residents are getting supply of treated groundwater from wells in Greater Noida.
