123 new coronavirus cases in Delhi; positivity rate slips to 0.19%

New Delhi: The Capital on Saturday recorded 123 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,35,916. The number of new cases reported came out of 63,322 tests conducted on the previous day.

At least 39,543 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 23,779 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.19 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.73 per cent.

Four patients succumbed to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,877. Two deaths were recorded on Friday, 7 on Thursday, 6 on Wednesday, 2 on Tuesday and 3 on Monday.

A total of 151 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,23,865 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.10 per cent. Currently, there are 1,174 active cases in the city. 

Out of the total 6,149 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,587 are vacant. A total of 471 patients are in home isolation.
