This street needs a Wingardium Leviosa, NOW! Missing lamp at Dwarka Sec 10 street light pole

Dwarka: For the past one year, a road has been devoid of light during nights in front of Suruchi Apartments and Rohit Apartments in Dwarka's Sector 10. The street then plunges into complete darkness near the Venkateshwar International School and the DDA park.

Vedika, a 20-year-old student said, “I rarely see these lights working. Sometimes one or two of them flicker to life but this has been a problem for a long time now.”

A street light's height range is from 9 to 14 feet but the residents claim that the poles are farther up and do not provide any sort of luminance to the road.

When CitySpidey spoke to Monika Mohale, Secretary of Rohit Apartments, she said, “The trees should be properly trimmed and the height of these poles should be shortened. They should be re-installed so that the light reaches the road. The tall bushy trees on the road block the light.”

On the subject, Deputy General Manager, Street Light, BSES, Dwarka, SK Dagar said that they would take the issue into concern and do the needful.
