New Delhi: The Capital on Thursday recorded 261 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,40,182. The number of new cases reported came out of 66,432 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 43,460 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 22,972 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was at 0.39 per cent.
One death was reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,915. A total of 143 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,27,566 in the national capital.
Currently, there are 1,701 active cases in the city. Out of the total 5,721 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,144 are vacant. A total of 870 patients are in home isolation.
