New Delhi: The Capital on Friday recorded 312 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,40,494. The number of new cases reported came out of 59,122 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 36,119 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 23,003 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 0.53 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 5.05 per cent.
Three deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,918..
A total of 312 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,27,797 in the national capital. Currently, there are 1,779 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 5,709 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,110 are vacant. A total of 863 patients are in home isolation.
