New Delhi: Bollywood’s 'Khiladi' on Tuesday celebrated a billion YouTube views on his track, “Teri Mitti” two days ahead of the second anniversary of the movie ‘Kesari’. The song was sung by Pratik Bachan, best known by his stage name B Praak. It was written by Manoj Muntashir, an Indian lyricist poet, and composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.

Celebrating the success of the song, a very delighted Akshay Kumar tweeted, “#TeriMitti is more than just a song.. it's a feeling which now resonates with more than one billion hearts! Thank you for the love.”

Teri Mitti was nominated for best lyrics at the Filmfare Awards in 2020 but lost to GullyBoy’s ‘Apna Time Aayega’. At the time, Manoj Muntashir had bid his adieu to Filmfare Awards through his tweet saying, “Good bye Awards..!!!” He expressed his disagreement with the Filmfare Awards by saying he won’t be able to write a line more beautiful and they have disrespected his art.
