Passengers found violating Covid norms blatantly in Delhi Metro

New Delhi: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Delhi Metro had set precautionary norms for passengers to check the spread of deadly virus. One of the them was making an arrangement to make passengers sit on the alternate seats.

For this, the Delhi Metro has also pasted stickers to prohibit passengers to sit on the seats.

However, as shown in the photograph, people are blatantly flouting the norms and are found sitting on the prohibited seats. One can see this happening in the photograph. People are found to be sitting like they used to before the pandemic.

With this, the social distancing norms are being violated. On March 17, more than 500 new coronavirus cases were reported in the city. Of late, the cases have been increasing sharply in the national capital.

“The Metro administration must look into the subject as soon as possible. Covid is not over yet, and the precautionary norms should be followed for safeguarding oneself,” said a passenger.
