Swachh Jal-Surakshit Jal - A joint initiative to decrease water-borne diseases

Gurugram: On the occasion of the 28th World Water Day, Sudha Society and RO Care India, Gurugram took a joint initiative of “Swachh Jal-Surakshit Kal.” The motive behind the mission is to decrease the increasing number of water-borne diseases in India.

At the start of the mission, RO Care India has installed a water purifier system in Elegant Children's Academy, Bhondsi on Monday for little kids. Dr Geetanjli Dua, Manager Employee Relations at RO Care India and Ruchi Saxena, President of Sudha Society initiated this mission under the guidance of GK Bhatnagar, Chairman of Sudha Society and Manoj Sharma, CEO, RO Care, India.

Bhatnagar guided the students on the importance of pure water and how harmful are water-borne diseases. Bhatnagar also shared his thoughts on the importance of teaching and guiding everyone on the value of fresh water. Ruchi Saxena and Geetanjli Dua also shared the facts and numbers of water-borne diseases that hit India.

This social welfare initiative was taken by Geetanjli Dua who is the employee relationship manager of RO Care India under the guidance of its founder Manoj Sharma.

RO Care India believes that with the installation of water purifiers in Elegant Academy, the students here will get easy access to pure drinking water which will help them stay healthy and keep them safe from water-borne diseases. Also, RO Care aims at providing contamination-free drinking water accessible to people pan India.
