888 new Covid-19 cases in Delhi; positivity rate spikes to 1.32%
New Delhi: The Capital on Monday recorded 888 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,48,872. The number of new cases reported came out of 67,418 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 48,981 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 18,437 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate spiked to 1.32 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stood at 4.67 per cent.
Seven deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,963.
A total of 565 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,33,975 in the national capital. Currently, there are 3,934 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 5,728 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 4,761 are vacant. A total of 2,067 patients are in home isolation.
