New Delhi: The social distancing norms are being violated blatantly inside Delhi Metro trains. CitySpidey had reported such incidents of Covid norms violation earlier.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has also been tweeting about the violations and asking the commuters to follow the rules properly. They have started penalising people as well.

Despite that, people have been spotted sitting on restricted seats that are labelled with prohibition signs. This is happening despite rounds of flying squads to ensure wearing of masks and social distancing protocols inside the coaches.

On March 24, 318 commuters were penalised for not following the norms inside Delhi Metro. Even after repeated metro announcement alerts, people have been found sitting on prohibited seats.

DMRC posted another tweet on Thursday morning asking people to follow social distancing protocols and politely counsel others to do the same. They are using the hashtag #CovidIsntOverYet to remind the people that the Covid cases are on a rise again.
