Four new board members for FedAOA, Ghaziabad

FedAOA, the apex body of AOAs in Ghaziabad, gets four new board members after its annual general meeting held today at their office in Ahinsa Khand 2, Indirapuram.

The four new members included are: Ashok Vardhan from Gardenia Glamour in Vasundhara, Epsipa Bhist from Balaji Foster Heights in Crossings Republik, Ravi Prakash from Amrapali Village in Indirapuram, and Ravindra Saini from Jaipuria Sunrise Greens, Indirapuram.

Initially, five members had offered nominations, but HC Joshi from Vartalok, Vasundhara, withdrew his, so that the new members could be selected without an election. The new members replaced Pooja Shrivastava, Sanjay Marhatta, Amrish Garg and PM Razdan.

However, many members of the FedAOA could not participate in the process, since, according to eligibility rules, a member has to be a president or a general secretary in the first quarter of the year. Many member AOAs had not yet conducted their elections, which rendered them ineligible for participating in the FedAOA board.

The new board also formed a group of special invitees to assist in the functioning of the federation. They included Milind Manasvi from Mahagun Mansion Ph 1, Pankaj Kumar from Niho Scottish Gardens, Ashok Kumar from ATS Advantage and HC Joshi from Vartalok Apartments.

At the meeting, FedAOA members expressed their gratitude to Alok Kumar, who completed his two-year term as the president. Speaking to City Spidey, Kumar said he did not wish to hold any more posts so he could make way for new members. Kumar also said that he would continue his duties as an advisory member of the board. The new posts of president, general secretary, treasurer and others will be decided in a board meeting, to be held on August 21.
