New Delhi: The Capital on Saturday recorded 1,558 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,55,834. The number of new cases reported came out of 91,703 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 59,648 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 32,055 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 1.70 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate was at 4.58 per cent.
Ten deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,997.
A total of 974 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,38,212 in the national capital. Currently, there are 6,625 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 5,748 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 4,410 are vacant. A total of 3,708 patients are in home isolation.
