New Delhi: The daily struggles of travelling between the adjacent cities Noida and Delhi for work and other reasons is no stranger to anyone.

In the regards of the same, a woman resident of Noida who has to travel to Delhi on a daily basis for her job, filed a petition alleging that her travel to Delhi from Noida is taking two hours instead of twenty minutes. It is perhaps a huge chunk of a day, she said.

Following this, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to Central Government and Delhi Police Commissioner to ensure that the road connecting Delhi and Noida should be kept clear in order to keep the passage between the two cities hassle free.

Monicca Agarwaal, a resident of Noida had put forward on her plea that she has to travel to Delhi daily for her marketing job and even though directions have been passed by the Court to keep the passage between Delhi and Noida clean, it has not been followed.

She stated that it takes 2 hours instead of 20 minutes to travel. She also said that she is a single mother and has some medical issues as well, thus it has become a nightmare for her.

The bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and also comprising Justice R Subhash Reddy observed, “We did put to her if it is so, it is an administrative failure as judicial view has already been propounded by us.”
