New Delhi: The Capital on Tuesday recorded 5,100 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,85,062. The number of new cases reported came out of 1,03,453 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 69,667 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 33,786 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 4.93 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate was at 4.54 per cent.
Seventeen deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,113.
A total of 2,340 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,56,617 in the national capital. Currently, there are 17,332 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 7,067 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 3,801 are vacant. A total of 8,871 patients are in home isolation
