New Delhi: The Capital on Saturday recorded 7,897 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 7,14,423. The number of new cases reported came out of 77,374 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 43,473 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 33,901 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 10.21 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate was at 4.63 per cent.
Thirty nine deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,235.
A total of 5,716 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,74,415 in the national capital. Currently, there are 28,773 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 11,106 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 5,708 are vacant. A total of 15,266 patients are in home isolation.
