One of the most colourful months of the year, Ramzan is here. During the period of Ramadan or Ramzan, men and women fast from dawn till dusk every day.
The faithfulls start their fast with Sehri, Sahrī or Sehri, also called Sahūr or Suhoor is the meal consumed early in the morning before fasting, before dawn during or outside the Islamic month of Ramzan. The day ends after Iftar, also known as Ftoor. It is the evening meal with which Ramzan fast is broken at sunset.
The month of Ramzan ends with Eid al-Fitr, which literally translates from Arabic as the “festival of breaking the fast”.
