New Delhi: As the coronavirus situation worsens, the Dwarka Police is stepping up its efforts to help the healthcare system in coping from shortage of oxygen. They have been consistently helping the hospitals in the area in procuring the oxygen cylinders.

As per the police officials, they have been making persistent efforts to procure oxygen cylinders from oxygen plants. So far, they have provided oxygen cylinders to Manipal Hospital, Samar Hospital, BH Salvas Hospital and Surabhi Gandhi Hospital.

All these hospitals had informed the police about the oxygen shortage for the Covid patients. After receiving the information at the police station, the police constituted teams and sent them to the oxygen plants to procure oxygen cylinders for the hospitals.

The police also helped in shifting the procured oxygen cylinders to the ICU wards where patients were admitted.

The relatives of the admitted patients are appreciating of the efforts of the police to go out of their way in procuring the oxygen cylinders amid the shortage in the national capital. The police also shared their
contact numbers to the hospital staff for any such need in future.
