Supertech Capetown opens isolation ward for Covid patients

Noida: As the coronavirus cases continue to affect the society, an isolation ward was established for the patients in the Supertech Capetown, a residential highrise society in Sector 74 in Noida.

The society also appointed nursing staff at Club 1 for the oxygen facility. The staff will be available 24x7. The names of staff are Sachin (8 am to 8 pm) and Purushottam (8 pm to 8 am).

Arun Sharma, president of the society said, “This facility is for those who are in critical condition and do not find any oxygen bed. If a resident does not want to isolate themselves in the house then they can avail the facility. It will very helpful for them.”

“We also provide few major medicines and the nursing staff and they will be available for 24 hours. Covid tests also take place in the ward. We have two oxygen concentrator for the old age people who cannot visit the wards. We have six oxygen beds for the residents,” he added

Brother Sachin shared, “Nobody came today in the ward. Most of the residents came for oxygen. I am on day duty from 8 am to 8 pm.”

The society also shared few conditions for availing of the facility. They are:

  • Since AOA is working as a facilitator, so a patient using the facility/any services needs to sign a consent form/undertaking and on producing a copy of the Aadhaar card and Covid positive report if the test is done.
  • For availing the oxygen support, the SpO2 level should be between  75 - 90%. This is an emergency service for the interim arrangements and subjects to availability for the duration till the oxygen level of the patient reaches 94%.
