Ghaziabad: In a recent development, the district administration has revised guidelines for lockdown in Ghaziabad on Saturday. Under this, imposition of Section 144 has been extended till August 10.
However, as per the new guidelines, permissions have been given to open cinema hall complexes, stadiums and malls from Monday to Saturday. But these facilities will operate with proper Covid protocol.
The order stated that there will be no permission to cultural, political, recreational or any such type of gatherings or activities. People have been asked to wear masks and follow the protocol strictly.
There would be strict norms for the movement from 9 pm in evening till 7 am in the morning. Only 50 people will be allowed in any gathering while only 20 people will be allowed in funerals. Apart from that, the restaurants have been instructed to close the operations at 9 pm in evening.
As per the guidelines, people would only be allowed to commute during 9 pm and 7 am with valid reasons and pass. Moreover, during the day time, two persons would be allowed on two wheelers, three on three wheelers and four on four wheelers.
People above the age of 60 years, below 10 years, pregnant women and people with comorbidities would only be allowed to go out in emergency. People would be strictly monitored for any violation of Covid protocol.
