MC elections held in Dwarka's Seema Apartments

Dwarka: The residents of Seema Apartments in Dwarka's Sector 11 organised the managing committee members election on Tuesday. KK Verma was re-elected as the president of the society.

Along with Verma, five more committee members, SC VIjay, AK Nijhwan, BK Jha, Krishna Bhaduria, and Dr Nisha Shankar were elected for other posts in the managing committee.

After the residents elected him as society's President, KK Verma called it a happy moment and appreciated the faith shown in him and his work. He said that he will try to live up to their expectations. “I want to thank everyone for cooperating during the pandemic. Although the second wave of Covid-19 has subsided to a great extent, we will continue to take appropriate measures to ensure that our society remains Covid-free in future," he said.

"One of the key initiatives that we have planned to take up in the next few months will centre around the elderly members of the society. This initiative would be for the special care for senior citizens for their recreation and health support. The senior population is quite varied, with a diversity of interests, strengths, and abilities. Our end goal is to make the seniors lead healthier and better adjusted lives. The next priority for us would be to upgrade the security system to a zero-tolerance level. Comprehensive safety practices are at the center of everything we do. Hence we are determined to upgrade the security system. The upgraded version of the security system would also be flexible and scalable, with superior alarming and reporting capabilities," he added.

“The outgoing MC has done a lot for the welfare of society in a short span of three years. Five of MC members are re-elected and two new MC members have been elected and inducted in the MC team. I feel the new managing committee will continue with the same spirit and leave no stone unturned for the betterment of society, " he further added.
