FedAOA chalks out 10-point agenda

Members of the FedAOA core committee met yesterday at the Shipra Krishna Vista clubhouse in Indirapuram to discuss the roadmap for the new body. The board members, too, were present at the meeting.

The agenda for the new FedAOA:

1. To get the builder to hand over maintenance. This will be followed by a complete handover of the society, along with all relevant documents such as the Deed of Declarationm, or DoD, and others.

2. To solve problems pertaining to the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) and usage of common area by the builder.

3. To continue its fight against encroachment and other linked problems such as the sale of ganja and liquor.

4. To get the GDA to follow up with the maintenance consultants, who have been appointed for the upkeep of Indirapuram.

5. To solve the dumpyard issue near Amrapali Village and improve the greenery in and around the societies.

6. To increase the FedAOA reach to societies of Rajnagar Extension, Crossings Republik, and carry out membership drives.

7. To conduct inter-society games and other competitions to facilitate camaraderie between societies.

8. To ensure proper maintenance of drainage in Indirapuram and also see to it that sewer-laying issues are resolved.

9. To pursue the GDA to provide space for construction of a fire station in Crossings Republik.

10. To work on issues of traffic congestion and speed breakers; to follow up on the widening of NH 24 — something that has been pending for years.

The members also decided to form an online advisory forum of FedAOA for elections and step up their online presence.

DK Maurya, FedAOA president, confirmed to City Spidey that the federation will shortly approach the GDA and other relevant authorities with a list of residents’ demands and recommendations.
