GreNo West: Techzone IV residents request GNIDA to develop green belt

Noida: Residents of Techzone IV in Greater Noida West are demanding development of a green belt in an open area near highrise residential societies including Fusion Homes and Cherry County. In a tweet, the residents of Fusion Homes requested the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) to convert a large open area into green belt.

The open area is located outside Fusion Homes and Cherry County. The residents of both societies requested the GNIDA to start the work for green belt at the earliest as the rainy season will be good for newly planted saplings.

A resident of Fusion Homes, Manoj Mishra said, “A green belt will enhance the beauty and reduce dust pollution in the area. The area is still being developed and there are a lot of construction activities going on which lead to dust pollution. A green belt will help in great deal.”

Manish Tripathi, a resident of Cherry County said, “With the green belt, the greenery will increase in the area. Also, we will be able to spend our time amid nature. Increasing greenery will also work towards making the area beautiful.”

“We are requesting the GNIDA to develop the green belt for more than a year. This will help in reducing dust pollution. We are hoping that the GNIDA will develop it soon,” said Robin Mittal, another resident of Fusion Homes.

“The green belt in much needed as area is witnessing a lot of construction activities. There is a huge influx of homebuyers in the area. They need a healthy atmosphere for better living. I request the authority to develop the green belt as early as possible,” said Kapil Gupta, a resident of Fusion Homes.
