GreNo West: Guards protest, close entry gates of Sky Gardens

Greater Noida: The security guards of Shri Radha Sky Gardens, a residential society in Greater Noida West, on Thursday protested against the management and closed all three entry gates of the society. Later, the gates were opened.

The residents alleged that the reason behind the protest was the discontinuation of the security guards' salary in the last three months. They said that the security guards have been protesting for the last five days.

Ashutosh Srivastava, a resident of the society said, “Maintenance team did not pay their salary. Due to this, the guards are on strike. In the morning, they closed the entry gates. Now the gates are open but there are no security guards available. Who will be responsible for the security of the society? Garbage collection has also been hampered.”

Another resident, Gaurav Patel, also echoed the same sentiment. “Due to the strike, there are no security guards positioned at the society gates. There has been no garbage collection in the last three days.”

CitySpidey also tried to contact the maintenance team but they were unavailable for comment.
