Dwarka: Many people come in the journey called life. Some stay but do not make a difference. There are also people who leave for better. Then there are people who mean the world to us and be present through thick and thin. These precious people are called friends.
Friendship of RK Jain and Ravi Jaitley is one such example in Dwarka sub-city. Both of them are in Dwarka for the last about 20 years but the deep intimacy started when both of them sat on a negotiating table as professional representative of two clients on the same project.
As mechanical engineer, RK Jain had to evaluate the technical parameters of the proposal while Ravi Jaitley had to look at it from financial and project management side of the plant and machinery for the venture.
This professional acquaintance developed into a strong friendship with cementing factors like instant and frank communication, respect for each other, similarity of interests, and honesty in thoughts, speech and actions.
It got further boost when they toured Dubai, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer together along with other friends. It was during one of these trips that the idea of founding Seniors Hub Dwarka took shape and finally executed in 2019.
Ravi Jaitley took upon himself the major working responsibility as General Secretary. RK Jain acted as President, providing guidance and support system.
On the occasion of Friendship Day today, Ravi Jaitley shared few lines, “The best thing in life is having a friend who cares, loves, and inspires you without a condition. They are everything that a true friend can be. We wish that they remain best friends for the rest of their lives. Wishing them and all of you a very happy friendship day!”
