Panchsheel Greens 2: Residents stage protest to raise issues

Greater Noida: Residents of Panchsheel Greens 2, a residential highrise society in Greater Noida West on Sunday protested against the builder alleging many issues including maintenance, electricity and internet.

“We have been living here for the last three years. Unfortunately, we have not received the basic amenities from the builder including park, fire safety system, intercom and internet. They are needed in a residential society. We have complained at many forums but there has been no solution to the problems,” said Sameer Goel, a resident of the society.

Another resident, Ravi Sharma said, “Since most of the time the internet is down, we are facing difficulties in doing work from home. Children are also facing issues in attending online classes. Companies like Airtel and Jio are ready to provide their services to us but the builder is not allowing them. We are also facing problems with the prepaid electricity system. The bills have increased lately.”

CitySpidey also talked to the director of Panchsheel Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. Anuj Chaudhary. He said, “There is no issue in this matter. Many residents have not been paying maintenance charges for the last 10 months. That's why we are unable to pay the salary of guards and housekeeping staff and also for other amenities. We are requesting payment but they don't want to pay.”

“As per the agreement, we are providing electricity through prepaid meters. As far as internet services are concerned, there are three service providers including BSNL. Do they want to say BSNL is not a good service provider? If they are not happy with our services then they can take handover and form the AOA. But they don't want to do that because they know very well that they can't maintain it in such a small amount,” he concluded.
