Greater Noida: The residents of Gaur City 1 and 2, a residential township Greater Noida West, are facing many problems due to damaged roads for a very long time.
On Wednesday, a resident of Gaur City 1, Gaurav Gupta tweeted, “The road outside Gaur City 1, towards Gaur City 2 has been damaged for a long time. The repair request has been lodged multiple times on the Mitra app and WhatsApp number of the authority but there has been no resolution yet.”
CitySpidey talked to Gupta to know their concerns, he said, “The issue of bad roads has been reported through multiple channels and platforms like Sameer App, Twitter and many more in the last one year. We raised our issue on the Mitra app on January 31, 2021 and received an update that the patchwork would be done by March 5, 2021. We again did a follow-up on March 11 but the situation remains the same.”
Another resident of Gaur City 1, Achal Rohit said, “The service road near gate number 2 of Gaur City 1 has been broken for a long time. Despite repeated reminders, nobody from authority took any corrective action. Thousands of commuters are facing this issue. The situation worsens after rain.”
Anita Prajapati, who is also a resident of Gaur City 1, raised similar concerns. She said, “We have been raising the issue of bad roads on social media platforms for long. There has been no action. I request the authorities to repair the roads as soon as possible.”
