Greater Noida: After heavy overnight rain, the residents of Aishwaryam society in Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West faced a lot of difficulties including waterlogging and plaster fall on Saturday.

Fro their Twitter handle, the residents raised the issue, they wrote, “बिल्डर ने दिया धोखा ऐसा, मैं पानी- पानी हो गई lAISHWARYAM, Gaur  City-2, बिल्डिंग खस्ताहाल, फ्लैट मालिक बेहाल, बिल्डर मालामाल किसका इंतज़ार?”

The residents faced problems in parking their vehicles due to waterlogging. Moreover, plaster fell from a flat's outer balcony in Tower D on 20th floor to the children park area. They also shared the incident in a tweet, it read, “बिल्डिंग खस्ताहाल, फ्लैट मालिक बेहाल, बिल्डर मालामाल l थोड़ी सी बारिश से छत गिर गया और मलवा चिल्ड्रेन पार्क में जा गिरा शुक्र है उस समय पार्क में बच्चे नहीं थे किसका इंतज़ार?”

Deepak Prasad Gupta, Secretary of AOA said, “Due to waterlogging, the pillars of the basement will get damaged, which will affect the structure of a building. Exhaust fans are not working too and the roads of basement 2 and 3 are in very bad shape.”

He added, “After heavy rain, plaster fell from the 20th floor. Who will take responsibility if any accident will happen?”

Arnimesh, President of Aishwaryam society said, “Due to heavy rains, water accumulated in the basement. There are many potholes in the roads of basements 2 and 3 which are invisible now. The sewers are not properly covered. In the early morning, plaster fell from the 20th floor to the children's park. I asked the builder if he could cover the children’s park with a net. It is not the first time that plaster fell from the towers of the society.”

SK Gupta, builder of Aishwaryam Society said, “We are committed to the maintenance of the society and if anyone has a problem, plan a meeting with us. I am always there for my residents.”
