Dwarka: There is invariably a traffic jam situation on a daily basis between Ayushman Hospital, Baroda House and Elephanta Heights in Sector-10, Dwarka.
Arun Kumar, a resident of Sector 10, lists the reasons for traffic jams and also provides solutions. He said, “This is primarily due to vehicles parked haphazardly by hospital visitors. The hospital administration must direct its guards to manage the traffic chaos.”
He added, “Unauthorised vendors are having food stalls and for that, local police authorities should plan relocation or removal of these vendors. E-rickshaw parking is blocking the road. These drivers do not follow any traffic rules and even ply on the wrong side of the road, creating traffic congestion.”

Gayatri Menon, a resident of Elephanta Heights said, “This situation is troubling the residents of three societies opposite Ayushman Hospital in Sector 10. A solution must be found by civic authorities and the hospital administration to resolve the daily traffic jam.”

Nidhi Gupta, a resident of Vinayak Apartments said, “This traffic chaos makes commuting very difficult for the residents of the societies on the road. It also affects the residents of nearby societies too for whom Golok Dham is a regular market.”
She added, “Currently, schools are closed due to pandemic, otherwise, the school buses, vans, personal drops and pick-ups for GD Goenka, Gold Public and Venkateshwar schools ply on this road. This is the right time to streamline the traffic.”
Dev Raj Sharma, a resident of Elephanta Heights said, “The residents of societies in front of Ayushman Hospital are suffering a lot due to these traffic hazards. We have requested traffic authorities to streamline the bad situation but it's still concerning us. I again request through this medium to immediately improve traffic irregularities. Ayushman Authorities should also contribute and their guards should regulate traffic and stop parking of cars on the road. They must not allow e-rickshaws to park there.”
