Residents demand OC/CC certificates on Noida Authority website

Noida: Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) and residents of Noida demand the Occupancy Certificate (OC) and Completion Certificate (CC) of the projects on the website of Noida Authority for the residents of Noida.

On August 24, Noida Authority shared a tweet with the caption, “In order to ensure the timely benefit of services of @noida_authority to the public, the Authority will now issue online  completion certificates for assets in all departments. Online  completion certificate software has been started for all departments  from today.”

On this, Amit Gupta, AOA President, Prateek Wisteria, Sector 77 replied with caption,  “Respected @CeoNoida ma'm, Glad to know that developers can now apply online for OC/CC; however as a resident, how can I know who all developers have got OC/CC, for which project and how many towers, as its not available on your website?”

In a talk with CitySpidey, Gupta said, “We request that authority should upload details of all the OCs given till date along with inspection date for the OC process and name of the person who did the inspection. It will increase transparency.”

Manish Kumar,Senior Vice President NEFOWA, said, “It is okay to give the facility to the builder but what about the residents. From where will buyers get the information about the OC/CC certificates of their interesting flats. The builder never discloses all this information to the buyers and they never shared this information.”

He added, “Our main question from the authority is from where residents will get information whether the society or the flat does or does not have OC/CC certificate. If the authority gave the facility to the builder, so why not for the residents. Authority has to show all OC/CC certificates on their online portal.”
