Paras Tierea - Residents fed-up with lift malfunction

Noida: The Residents of Tower-28 in Paras Tierea, a residential highrise society in Sector 137, Noida are forced to manage with only one lift since July 31. The residents have consistently complained about this issue and even wrote a letter to Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer, Noida, however, the authorities have turned a dead ear to their complaints.

City Spidey has written about this earlier also regarding the lift issue which has been re-occurring in society.
"It is going to be one month now in two three days, we have been continuously raising this issue from 31st July. The situation is worse now. Only one lift is functional which also sometimes gets stuck, forcing the residents hanging for 30-60 minutes", said Aditya Kumar Tripathi, a resident of Paras Tierea.

"On Thursday, in Tower 4, a lady got stuck in a lift due to power failure. Guard was not able to open the lift with the key. The Automatic Rescue Device, which is used for rescuing passengers trapped in an elevator failed once again. There is no Automatic Rescue Device working after the power is gone. After 15 minutes, the lady was rescued from the lift. This is a big shame that we pay for maintenance but we have zero security", said Sumit Kumar, another resident of Paras Tierea.
